My grandparents have been been married a long time. And they have been taking the whole family on a vacation every 5 years once they hit 50 years. This is the third family vacation (you do the math) and, arguably, the most extravagant to date. They rented a giant house and the whole family (all 25!) of us stayed on the Lake of the Ozarks for 5 days and nights. The house included an incredible dock and they also rented a bowrider for our boating, skiing and tubing delights. We made our meals, swam, ate, swam, ate, drank and generally enjoyed each other’s company. Soooo relaxing!! And with such great people! In such a great environment. The weather was perfect! We had so much fun. We should do this every year. Seriously. I mean. Seriously.
